Another defiant #midwesternnative #hostplant coming up thru the middle of a yew bush
I will take it!!! So hard finding it to add to my garden.
Someone else just complained to me about the milkweed plants crowding her driveway, @ambitiouswolf !
I have seeds to share... probably still with fluff included! A #selfseeding favorite of mine. If I can locate them, I would gladly mail some to either of you!! Let me know if you're interested. @emch @ambitiouswolf
@KariSamuel I will keep that in mine. I currently have two plants in order. Just have to wait a few weeks for them to be big enough to ship. But if that doesn’t work out I might take you up on the offer.

A co-worker asked if I wanted milkweed seedlings and I asked if she had maybe 6 to spare. She said yes and had her husband drop off EIGHT of them, each in a half-gallon pot. Now what do I do lol #hostplant
Count your blessings, that's what! #freeplants #plantsfromfriends #seedlings

Now this was a peculiar find. Out of all the milkweed plants at the library, only this one was crawling with ants and flies. Did someone pour their Pepsi over it? #wildlifewednesday #exoskeletal

Nice crop of seed pods at the drive-thru #midwesternnative #hostplant

I thought it had been carried off because I couldn't find it, but it is still right there... #midwesternnative
I've looked for these seeds to plant for the butterflies, did not have any. Thinking I'll have to buy the plant as you have👍looking good.
@crabby58 drive around where you live and look for milkweed pods on the side of the road/in fields/etc. Right now is when the seeds are ripe and one pod will give you tons and tons.

Late to the party, I know, but I finally invested in a couple of milkweed plants. One of them came complete with an incredibly tiny monarch caterpiggle. #midwesternnative
These never do anything for me, but this single seedling is hanging on #hostplant #guerillagardening
