Gardening in mostly deep shade in Zone 6. My passion is adding more native plants to my landscape & clearing out the foreign invasives.

These are such cool plants. I was thrilled to see mine bloom this year for the first time.

This Rattlesnake Master vanished entirely, then sprouted up again, to my relief... #swamptastic #midwesternnative #beemagnet

THRILLED to see both of these babies made it thru the winter...pollinator magnets to rival even my beloved Carpenter's Square patch #swamptastic #midwesternnative #beemagnet

Looks like someone stepped on it -- almost certainly me -- but the little guy is defiantly putting out a new leaf #swamptastic #midwesternnative

Rattlesnake Master -- I'm told this #midwesternnative will diversify my pollinating insects. Having seen the incredible variety of flying creatures clustered around the blooms at the nursery, I believe it

Doesn't look like much yet but this Rattlesnake Master, purchased of course at Specialty Growers in Howell, MI, is a baby version of the huge, rather ugly plants on display at the nursery which were crawling with pollinators I've never seen before in my life. I want to see some of those ladies in my own garden. #midwesternnative #swamptastic
