Gardening in mostly deep shade in Zone 6. My passion is adding more native plants to my landscape & clearing out the foreign invasives.

As the plant appeared a week after I potted it up, with tiny eartips of new leaves #euphorbscanlooklikeanything

Just once I would like to send for a succulent that arrives looking like the picture in the ad. This is so dorky. #succulentsunday

@novicegardenlover that's what I liked, too, the pink veins. I just wish I could remember ordering it lol

Help me identify this plant that came in the mail today, sans packing slip. I cannot find any record that I bought a single succulent specimen anywhere in recent memory, and its appearance leaves me undecided: Dorstenia? Euphorb? Something else entirely? #plantid

Looks like some kind of Kalanchoe

Return address? Tracking number? I agree with @philstalder it appears to be kalanchoe.

@KariSamuel I have the usual problem here; I order something from an eBay or Etsy seller called (for instance) "Exotic Succulents of Tucson" and then I get a package with a return address that says Schlitzie Glutz in Fort Wayne. The problem here is that without knowing what the plant is I can't guess where to search. I definitely did not order a kalanchoe but I remember deciding not to order a Euphorbia francoisii because it was too pricey and you had to buy 4 assorted when I only liked 1.

@KariSamuel another issue is that sometimes I order something and they don't send it to me until a geological age has passed. I forget what I ordered and where and then, hey, what is this crazy thing I just got in the mail?

Crazy. The leaves do look like a Kalanchoe. What is the fuzz? Thorns, air roots, hair? Does it bleed white like a Euphorbia? Is it graphed? Did someone send it when it just appeared from space? Beware, it does not talk or start demanding blood!! 🤯

The fuzz looks like golden hairs to me @lovestogarden not air roots. The roots look very different. I did not break the skin to see what color it bleeds! IDK what you mean by "graphed."

Interesting 🤔 There are some cactus, succulent Id groups on Facebook that might be helpful.

Sorry, I miss spelled "grafted". 😊 I just thought it could be two different plants grafted together. @BettyBurks has a good idea.
