Come to think of it, @columbiariver there was a big branch shading them until this year. When I cut the tree back this really took off!

Camera washed out the color, but these are nearly black with flame-red edging #interestingfoliage

This bush is rallying again at last, but I was going to give it away and now I'm afraid to move it at all! #midwesternnative
