A typical specimen growing almost 6 feet tall where a frailer variety grafted to it didn't survive the winter. These bloom in a deep red-violet at first and fade to sizzling pink. Usually a single petal has a slender white streak, and all the petals are white at the very base. Intriguing spicy scent. Often reblooms in fall. #semidouble semi-climber
Alas, @columbiariver it is #notmyplant -- just happened to be growing where I could see it. There was another one just like it 2 houses down...
