Honestly, @docthrill these are not nearly as rank as the S. lepida, which is maybe 1/4 of the size.

I saw with chagrin, after I had already dislodged it from the pot, that I finally have a couple of buds. I hope they stick it out; I look forward to them blooming every year. #succulentsunday
