Looking from this angle I see a rather dowdy woman in sunglasses facing left, perched on a lawn with a very steep slope & a pretty strong wind at her back. #foliagefriday

...and that's definitely a pig shouting, with a trotter held up to his mouth, at upper L #foliagefriday

We see a warthog! 🐗

Close enough, @usgardentags !

I saw a snapping turtle bottom right

Now that you mention it, @moore.794

Hey! I just took another gander at that leaf and realized there are 2 faces on it, not 1... #curiouscases

Decided to clip the variegated one back and try to get the stems to root...I hope the #houseplants tag applies despite this plant being in the office... #foliagefriday

I may never get the 50/50 green & white leaf I've been wanting, but as far as solid white goes, WE'RE ALMOST THERE #variegated #anticipation

I think this definitely counts as #trailing

The seemingly all-white leaf forming on this plant died before it unrolled, but here are a couple of the other leaves for #foliagefriday

Uhm, looks like the fairies 🧚♀️ forgot to finish their work, or did they? Lol

Beautiful nonetheless

Wow, that's gorgeous 😍

Here you go @sushiwaitress #foliagefriday -- the funny little tuft off to the side is the putative "Neon Robusta" which has stayed very compact and non-drapey so far...

I love these arrowhead vines. My grandmother was so good at growing them but I just kill them.

You're doing fine Eileen the leaves look healthy. It does grow slower but let another leaf or two come out then snip them off snd root them, add them back to the pot. I don't try to train mine upwards, l have it in big pot to drape down. And a few others in various stages of growth

@lesliecole49 the snip-and-root thing is not working for me at all. From now on I am going to just plug a root node into the soil without detaching it from the mother plant to multiply them... @sushiwaitress how do your Syngoniums die on you? What is going wrong? Killing one of these is almost like killing a plastic cactus LOL

That'll work too

@emch 😂🤣😂🤣 just forgot to water 🙃

@sushiwaitress you can just stick a cutting in a pitcher of water and keep it alive forever that way!

..."like killing a plastic cactus " 🤣🤣

Another well-variegated leaf. Still hoping for one split right down the middle, half green, half white... #foliagefriday

It looks soooo tall!! 😂🤣😂

I will get a photo of the whole pot and tag you, @sushiwaitress so you can get the full effect

Woooooooo!

My cutting is wilting badly. STILL NO NEW ROOTS. Any suggestions peeps?

Idk maybe it's too much foliage to be supported but such little roots? Maybe make them smaller cuttings or cut the leaves in half across or remove the leaves and just do the cuttings by node? I know that sucks but my guess is its just too much

Or just try to hang on till a root pops out?

That makes sense @heatherdirtyhands -- I would have expected to see roots long before this!

It should root within a week. You do have nodes in the water...? 🤔

At least 6 nodes in water water @lesliecole49 but they aren't budging in nearly THREE weeks. 🙄

Wow, hmmm, maybe cut off a couple of the bottom nodes, to refresh it so to speak and cut off some of the end leaves and try rooting them too

How #easycare is this baby? It's totally happy in a glass of water. When the stem roots I'll plant it in the pot with the parent which was unfazed by being clipped down more than halfway... #foliagefriday

I'm close to snipping some off and rooting it to fill out the pot this #foliagefriday

I would cut some off.

This is gorgeous! I've been watching for a verigated arrowhead vine but they are hard to find around here

I had to send for it online @lesliecole49 -- I am impressed by the diaphanous pale-pink ones owned by people at this app

I do have a few nice colors, a pink and a darker red. I guess I'll have to look online...

You know gardening is slowing down for the winter when every individual new leaf gets posted LOL #foliagefriday

I know the feeling. 😂

💚💚💚

I know I dread the time of year of just mums and holiday cactus that are labeled wrong lol. Boring. Also when stores have no plants and there's no light. So depressing. Here's to posting every new leaf!

I have two varieties-a variegated and solid green-they are from plants my husbands grandmother planted around 75 years ago if not longer

This is what I mean...the leaves at the base have zero white variegation, and as you go higher and higher on the vine the leaves are much whiter #foliagefriday

Each new leaf is a little whiter than the one that came before...there seem to be 2 layers of pigment with totally different patterns of green and white on each layer... #interestingfoliage

New home in my cubicle! Found a pot I already had that I liked better than the yellow one. Gumby and Pokey were added for moral and physical support. #interestingfoliage

Looks great in that pot. Love Gumby and Pokey too. I bought my son a Mr Bill a few years ago. 🧡💚

It's here!!! Just wondering what taggers think of the new variegated plant growing in something like this bright yellow pot -- minus the sweet potato vines. I tried it in a dark blue pot and it didn't have any zing at all. Or is it too hard to tell looking at this terrible photo? #interestingfoliage

Looks great in the yellow pot👍love it

It looks great in the yellow!

Love the new plant. Variegation looks beautiful. Looks great in the yellow pot. #houseplant 👍

I was looking up Syngoniums and was dazzled by this one with a #splitpersonality #notmyplant #notmyphoto

It’s beautiful

Fantastic foliage 🤍💚💚🤍

After a frenzied search I found a seller in California. Sent for it just now. Every other plant I could find shipped from freaking Indonesia. Not that they weren't stunning plants, but $150 shipping for a $90 plant is a little steep.
I love the multilayered effect of the colors on these leaves #details
