Help me identify this creeping groundcover someone asked about on another site. Maple seed in the photo for scale. Zone 5b, USA PlantID

@emch which state is this in? It may be a native to a specific area, and does it grow year round or only in a specific season? We have a ground cover that grows here in FL only in the fall 😉
Possible that it is creeping thyme?
