Help me identify this plant please. Looks like it's a member of the 'currant' family but otherwise I am clueless!

Please tell me more about this plant. It's fabulous. Could I grow it in a large pot on my balcony here on the south coast? Any info. would be appreciated.

@johninbrighton yellow flowers are fragrant and followed by edible black berries. By autumn the foliage turns to bright shades of red and purple so a long season of interest. Tough and resilient it will grow well in most gardens in sun or semi shade. Height and spread 2m but suspect less if you were growing in a pot. I would use a soil based compost such as john innes no3 mixing a bit of grit with the soil at the bottom of the pot. Feed annually with a balanced fertiliser and keep watered.

@johninbrighton as to purchasing - looks like nearest supplier to you is Perryhill Nurseries in East Sussex - oh and it has been reclassified Ribes odoratum 😀
