Having lived in military housing for a number of years we now have our own house with an amazing garden full of many suprises!
Help me identify this plant
@jennlamaye
My closest guess is a Delphinium, but I'm not really sure. Are those the leaves behind it?
@jennlamaye the leaves are the plant too. The spiky leaf is something else!
I wonder if @cyndi can id?
@cyndi am I right in reading this plant is highly toxic/poisonous. Concerned as my dog likes to graze on grass etc
@cyndi Thank you do much for the sharing this detailed information. It is greatly appreciated. Only had this garden for 6 months so still very new to me as have no idea what is planted here.
That is so fun! Every year you'll find something new! 😉
I’ve got the same aconitinum with very feathery leaves. It is in flower now, much earlier than my other varieties with less feathery leaves.
