The leaves don't look all that happy, but I do see two strong buds! I bought two and killed one (not on purpose, I promise!!!) I really hope this one survives!

See @ShelleySnyder, this is mine today. Its now-dead sibling had similar looking leaves before it wilted away. I'm hoping this is just wind damage, because these leaves have looked healthy until just now recently. I checked my cuttings and they still look good, so all is not lost even if this one decides to say goodbye.

Wow! Thanks for posting this! Seems like it might be something clematis get maybe, but I don't know what that is! I would keep checking the leaf nodes for signs of life, before I completely give up on it💘😍
