Lilium 'Star Gazer' syn. Lilium 'Stargazer'

Not really sure if this is a stargazer, because it is probably 3 times taller than the rest. It both looks and smells similar to my other stargazers, but I have decided to call this one my tree lily. Picture taken a week ago, before I had to rescue it from the rain.

I was a bit disappointed, because with so few dry hours it seems like the scent isn't quite as strong as I remember from last year. Perhaps it will increase as more buds open. @gjones @elinod

Lovely! I was only thinking recently how the Lillies seem to be a bit later this year than I remember. I wonder if the weather is related?

I've also been thinking that @richard.spicer.7906 , but I wasn't sure if I remembered correctly or simply glorified past years. Glad to hear others feel the same way!

If we could only have a few more hours of sunshine now... These have been hanging out in the rain, waiting for their moment. Perhaps tomorrow?
