I thought I had killed this cherry tree when I moved it quite forcibly last year. When it became apparent that it wasn't dead, I was sure it wouldn't produce any flowers this year. Guess I should just stop making predictions.

We planted a new one just before the snow came and thought we’d lost it before it started but hey presto, it flowered a few weeks later! 😀

😁😁😁 @itstillhelen -- isn't it great when things just work out? 😁😁😁
This is the closest to actual edible cherries I've gotten -ever! The tree is quite old, but in past years it has been overcome by blackfly and I've resorted to cutting back just about everything.
Looking great!!
I hope to taste mine before the birds take them @gjones, but since we're away for the next two weeks, I realize I might have taken a bit of a chance leaving them open like that.
Hopefully it’ll be better next year. Two years ago we topped of a tree and last year it didn’t look real good but this year it’s doing great. Maybe trees need a yr. to sort of get re-established. That’s great 👍🏻😊💕
I was really happy with them this year, they even tasted good too. If next year is even better, that would be a treat! @terrimclaughlin
