Just under a year ago I planted this young wisteria to train up my pergola. Not knowing much about wisteria at the time, it quickly lost all of it’s leaves after planting and took a very long time to show any signs of life thereafter. After waiting and watching, I’m pleased to now see it’s first ever most beautiful flowers blossoming and adding a vibrant colour to the pergola. Such a beautiful thing!!
This is the leading branch(?) of my very young wisteria and it has been damaged. Any guidance on whether to just leave it or prune it back. If in need to prune it, how far back do I go? Advice please @teamgardentags
I bought this wisteria in October last year. It looks very different to when I bought it and I’m trying to train it up the pergola. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to encourage better growth and for it to start growing up the post? Really keen for advice on this please @teamgardentags
