#chilli #1stflower #staysafe sooo excited for the first flower. Isn't it amazing how easily we can be pleased? 😃😃

It’s exciting seeing the first flowers on a plant, even if you’ve seen them a bunch of times before 😛
#chilli technically it's ripe and ready to eat, but how sad is this? #staysafe
😂😂👍🏻
At least you have a #pepper 😍 My pepper didn't have enough time to ripen. I have a potted sweet pepper that I brought inside and it delivered a whole heap of spider mites 😬 So I get to smell neem oil for a while 😷😛 @ericplummer
@Dragon_Warrior how come they didn't have enough time to ripen? Where in the US are you? Or did you plant them late?
I am in Connecticut. I'm still learning, lol. I think they will need to stay in pots 😁 @ericplummer
@Dragon_Warrior they should survive the winter in pots if they're kept away from the frost. We're all still learning, every day is a school day 😉
@ericplummer I'm still not used to the weather here. I planted them in the ground and frost came before I had a chance to pot them up. I didn't really have room for them indoors anyway 😕 I started some Jalapeños for my son. I just repotted some seedlings. I will post a pic soon 😁 I'm also still learning which plants will take priority when space is limited. Then I'm finding ways to expand my space. Much more learning to go 💕
@jalapenos are far more important than sweet peppers and as they don't take up much room, you can grow them indoors 👍. Not used to the weather there? Have you only recently moved to Connecticut?
@ericplummer Hahaha 🤣 Yeah, I have had success with them in the past but I don't need them, but my son would disagree and I want to keep him interested in the plant world 😁 We have moved a lot but most recent was from Indiana to Connecticut about a year and a half ago and that's where my passion/obsession began 😛
