Help me identify this plant please? It's in the garden of my local pub, nobody knows what it is?? Thanks in advance x

Looks great but don't know the name of it 😕 wouldn't be surprised if someone said a type of hydrangea but foliage doesn't look familiar.. So can't say but would be interested to find out ☺
