#iris is a little #punkrock

Is this as truly blue as it looks in this photo??? It sure is #veiny

@emch It is! No filter.

@ewhayden don't tell me the cultivar name is punkrock LOL! #trueblue

Well, @emch , I thought it was, but upon closer examination I believe it's Glam-ius Filth-ata, common name Curt Wild.

Still a nom de punque, le vrai chose

First bloom #iris

I have yellow. It is taking over one of my flower beds. It would be pretty with the purple.

@fern-gully yeah, I have a ton and they're taking over the gardens here as well. Time to do some divisions I think!

@ewhayden I'm getting the ones out of the bed they are in this fall. I had no idea they would multiple so quick.

#iris #help Bunch of Iris plants in these old gardens. Is this part of the rhizome, or next year's bloom? I assume I do not mulch this part of the plant...?

@jamesdep these look similar 🤔🤨

@sieveheadsarah I see what you mean, we do have lots of iris but definitely not in the location where this is, unless it’s been moved, we places iris at the front of the boarders where it gets a little more soggy when raining. It could possibly be, if been moved by something but it seems well rooted just exposed. :-) thank you.
