@franshinegee it doesn't look like it's trying to make flowers, & it's only about a foot tall. I thought it was supposed to take over! From what I researched you only need to buy what because it'll take over your garden fast

@KariSamuel there's no way it needs more sun, it gets plenty. I can't get any shade anywhere in my yard. I bought this plant in May, should it be bigger?

I haven't had much success with Monarda - they usually die after a year - maybe I got a nice healthy plant this time. I do know that if it's in full sun it will want a lot of water, esp the first year!
