You have 2pics of petunia's both named Phantom are they from the same packet? I have a nearly black one and it's named black velvet.

They were bought already in Bloom from the garden centre all in the same tray an the label was for Phantoms, but I'll be honest I don't know @robinson-brett :-)

I have the same petunia's and doing great but I didn't get any (black) ones in mine. I bought both types from Notcutts Garden Centre, Norwich, in a tray, and I have been just so very pleased with them. I used bagged sterol compost from our Local Recycling Centre and it's terrific. Plenty of water, fed with miracle grow or tomorite and they just romped away.

Fair doo's @robinson-brett I'll be honest I've done nothing at all but buy them plant them and water them just let nature take its course :-)

Oh please another year try watering with some Miracle grow or Tomorite and you'll see your plants get to a metre across and tumble at least 2feet. There amazing.
