Got #cereusforbesii home and safely put in a pot😊 WAY bigger than I realized when I agreed to take him😱

Wow really tall.

Yaaa... I ended up asking the neighbors if I can borrow brooms to stabilize it temporarily. We moved it against the house for now, it’s right up against the eves! Just worried it will fall over😳 I’m gonna run to the hardware store & see about getting planks to prop it up. Omg @dirtgirlworld @yogi2

My friend said they prefer smaller pots, unfortunately... the root ball likes to stay contained. It’s a struggle for us, especially here where the earth is perpetually wet. I opted not to ground plant just this am, because I don’t want to risk leaving it out if we have to evacuate. (Thinking of you guys made me realize I’d want this in my garage - if it fits!) I have a good, heavy mix in the pot, lots of grit and gravel. I’m stressed now, realizing it will outgrow my garage by next year 🥺

That's tall...

@Papa3D1S I was told 77”, but in the pot, it has to be over 8’! We ended up propping against my house wall for the time being. Root ball was shallow, maybe 18” down🤷🏻‍♀️
