Gasteria acinacifolia

I’m starting to enjoy #gasteria This was labeled #fuscopunctata, but I’m unsure if that’s the same as #gasteria-oxtongue. Looks alike, so I’m going with it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not to be too rigid here but “ox-tongue” is a common name given to gasteria species in general. Fuscopunctata is a non valid species name (or synonym) for gasteria acinacifolia which is what your plant appears to be. If you don’t care to or need to know the scientific binomial names then “Ox Tongue” works just fine.

@heatherdirtyhands thanks! I have a #gasteria-littlewarty that I found, my introduction to this plant. When someone let me choose one of these to add in, I jumped at the chance!

@wildbloomers I appreciate learning about these. That explains why I couldn’t find anything about it when I got it. Can you advise, should this have the same “plumpness” of leaves as my little warty? I can’t tell if it needs a drink or not 😂
