Bought this on Amazon a year or 2 ago. Wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s now anchored to one of my wrought iron chairs and Has a few smaller plants growing nearby. #dragonfruit
It’s so beautiful and looking great. I bought some dowels at Walmart for $1 a piece. Joanne fabrics and Michaels or any craft store would carry it as well. If you plan on using your chair at a later time lol. I used two dowels, one on each side and secured the plant to them with zip ties not too snug. I try to mist them daily as well but they do just as well without it. I just make sure the soil never goes completely dry but then again the care varies on the variety. @fearlessthereforepowerful
I haven’t had much luck with the yellow variety. My plant just wilted away a few days ago. The others are doing fantastic though. I follow this YouTuber and he’s great with dragonfruit knowledge. He knows everything under the sun about them. https://www.youtube.com/c/GraftingDragonFruit @fearlessthereforepowerful check him out if you have a minute.
Thanks @rudester1 I figured I’d move it after the winter, so I’ll get the dowels then, awesome idea! Fortunately, this is outside, so it gets rain almost daily. I’m thinking I should put it in the ground this winter.
Thanks for the link @rudester1 I don’t know if this is yellow, red, or white, TBH. Is there a way to tell just from the plant itself? I’ll watch the video now! 🙏🏼💚
I honestly don’t know how to tell by the plant but the guy on YouTube may be able to answer that question. @fearlessthereforepowerful if he does please do update us. 😊

@rudester1 I was hoping you’d see this😊 I had to secure it to my wrought iron chair to keep it upright!
