Gladiolus

Planted 20 bulbs ....only 3 have flowered! Any tips/advice would be very welcome 😎💗

They seem quite late round our way and temperamental with flowering. Guessing they got knocked back by the Beast etc

Mine are late too and having long gaps between each one flowering.

I planted 8 and 3 have flowered so far, looks as if a couple more might make the effort , I'm being patient or optimistic 🙄

Just read your comment. ☺ Gladioli bulbs need to be kept moist to flower well (but not wet/soggy). I think the drought last year stopped quite a few plants from flowering.
