My garden consists of succulents and cacti 🙂🌱 Location: California, Zone 9b. Still a new gardener/plant collector, so any advice is appreciated!

As requested, I’ve removed the leaf. Here is a photo of the stem. Does it look like rot? The roots are completely dry.

It doesn’t to me. Just look like it’s shedding an old leaf.

@Yollymac thank goodness.. I really don’t want to kill this specific plant. I’m still learning about succulents, so I start doubting myself whenever I run into a questionable situation. Thanks so much for your help :)

It’s no trouble. Tag me or any of the others if you need any help at all.

In search of some advice, please! What’s happening to my Little Jewel? 2 of the leaves are turning yellow and thin. The leaves are located in the middle of the plant, (so not the outer, older leaves). I haven’t watered it in 10 days. The soil is completely dry. It also gets 3-4 hours of direct sun, then sits in the shade for the majority of the day. Additional info: the plant is also producing pups/offsets, and I heard that the babies take a lot of nutrients/energy from the mother plant.

Remove the leaf and check the stem of you are able to.

My current favorite plant! I’m in love with the color and its jewel-like detailing. Purchased on: 6/12/18
