Hydrangea macrophylla 'Zorro' syn. Hydrangea macrophylla 'Zorro Blue', Hydrangea macrophylla 'Zorro Pink'

Oh dear my blue hydrangea has turned to pink. Silly me repotted with normal soil 😂😂

It's still lovely though 😍

All the blue ones I’ve ever had do that Pearl...even on ericaceous and with colourant!!🙈 Pretty in pink though! 🌸😉

@fushia I was told that the soil composition determines the coloration of Hydrangeas . Have u heard of this?

I have an enormous one of these in my property at Hastings, it's been there forever and I still am not sure of the best way of looking after it, especially trimming and winter care. help, anyone?...

I leave mine till early spring and when the buds appear I dead head and tidy

We inherited a really large hydrangea @MarieMartin in out new garden. I cut it back almost to the ground in the first spring, it grew well but no flowers in the first year. This year it has been superb with lots and lots of beautiful flowers. Next spring I will just deadhead and prun back lightly to keep a good shape.

Thanks for the advice about my hydrangea Joanboston, I'll make sure my son doesn't deadhead it until the springtime, he's coming up to Surrey to see me tomorrow. If I find the photo I will post it, when I know how to....... x
