I did if it is lambs ear it had purple ish flowers and its come back year after year and self seeded

Thanks @poll1234 I think it's called Senecio. It has yellow daisy like flowers. I might just do it to a couple of stems to see if it's okay 😜😜

Just looked at the RHS online it says pruning group 8, which is a spring prune I think @fuschia 🌿
