@fuzzymisfit Aye, all this rain increases the risk of the tomatoes splitting ... Something I have learned is that if your tomatoes are close to ripening but not quite flush red, & a lot of rain is due, harvest early & ripen indoors otherwise they split and everything from Slugs to insects feast on them & they rapidly rot. Hopefully that won't happen to any of mine or yours or anyone else's this year 😁 🍅🍅

@fuzzymisfit Be sure to keep us all updated! I only have 1 growing this year. I grow more for entertainment than necessity & I wanted to try something else this year so relaxed on the tomatoes, growing a cherry variety I have never grown before. What variety are your tomatoes?

@zylo.. Hopefully Red and edible veriety. We got the plants at about an inch tall from the mother-in-law, so far ours are doing better than hers. The ones in the hanging basket are tumbling toms. first time we have done tomatoes. Its all sooo exciting!!
