#choisya obliging me with flowers this year after I forgot to prune it in 2016, yielding a flower count of zilch last year. The leaves always end up chewed over winter, I’ve discovered this is the activity of leaf roller moth caterpillars 🐛

I like to see mine out of the window in Winter @joolzd1970, it brings some much needed colour. This took a couple of years to get going, the root system when I bought it looked like a rooted cutting less than a year old. I’m sure you’ll find yours somewhere, Indiana Jones stylee after you’ve hacked back the ‘free wildflowers’ 🤣

Hopefully ... eventually... lol... the house itself has priority at the mo and the garden saddly neglected but fending for itself quite well so far 😊

I am so jealous of all your lovely colour at the moment as we are heading into cold wet winter

@tanya11 your winter will be like our summer :) But there's no escaping the short days which doesn't help. So you're in south west w.a.? I remember the most beautiful unspoiled beach at Lucky Bay. Is that anywhere near you?

Nearly @gardengimp I'm in Margaret River where all the great wine comes from😜🍷

Wow, it was a long time ago but I've definitely heard of it, in fact one of my fellow travellers made a special trip there to see her 'friend' (buy some wine probably)! Lol. We've got family in Warnbro if that means anything and friends in the suburbs north of Perth :)
