Looks lovely! I’ve one but it’s tiny and only managed 4 flowers last year!

@StephenF Thanks, I love this one, its from my old garden and unfortunately didn't move with me, so you've reminded me I need another! It took a couple of years to establish, but then again it was only a tiny plant, probably from a supermarket. I now only buy clematis from nurseries in the long pots, preferably having spent a season there and over wintered. I slide them out of the pot first and check for a nice dense rootball, it's so worth it, much stronger growth and more flowers😃

Very good idea and sound advice there too ;) I find it too easy to buy more and more clematis, and I’ll find any excuse! Having a small ish space is a bit of an issue though, but it doesn’t put me off! It’s a great flower :)

@StephenF yes, they're quite addictive, just love all climbers and making use of vertical space to fit more in 😄

Don't think mine even has buds yet. I will have to squeeze through the bushes and see now. I am all excited for getting home. 😍

@slj I'm amazed it's still with us, I'd left it for dead more or less, now there's half a dozen buds. #notdeadyet Hope you got a nice surprise 😀

Two buds so far and they are small this flowers twice so maybe more later on in the summer I'm good at leaving things for dead then finding them alive on the compost heap 😂
