These are the flowers @Myla_moss, they appear on a spike that emerges from a fleshy rosette. 👍🏻

Me too 😀 I don’t think it’s elegans anymore, probably imbricata or glauca. Arg! Confusing 🤣 I’ll take a photo tomorrow if I can and post it. It’s quite fairly tough but a moderate to hard frost will reduce it to mush @Yollymac
I wonder whether the plant you have listed as imbricata is imbricata. It doesn’t have the signature groove on the leaves. Will tag you in mine.
