Boring photo, but cataloging #stipa-calamagrostis in year 2, now known as #achnatherum-calamagrostis by pro horticultural types apparently. I prefer the old name, I can just about pronounce it 😀 Bit of a #slow-grower but worth the patience.

@cyndi no me neither, its a hassle to maintain. Under normal circumstances my time is very limited, so low maintenance ornamental grasses are ideal for beauty and practicality. Also that's why I like the sterile plants I have because they flower their nuts off and I'm not spending time weeding out unwanted seedlings. There is method to my madness 😁

It's a bit like the new name for stipa tenuissima. For me it's always going to be stipa tenuissima because I can't pronounce the new name 😂😂
