#thalictrum-rochebrunianum flowers opening. #grownfromsavedseed collected Autumn 2018 👊👊 I gave a few away cos I'm nice like that, but now I've got six plants! Note: new plants can dry out and wilt easily until established.
Fabulous photo 💜💛
That's so pretty! Are they easy from seed? I had some old seed that I never got round to sowing. I'll get some more if they grow and flower that quickly!
Beautiful 📷 💜💛
@tash74 they're not the easiest from seed, I've had as much success as failure. Seed is better super fresh, straight off the plant then onto the compost almost ☺ I lay them onto the surface and cover with a thin layer of grit in a tray in Autumn and leave them in the greenhouse to germinate hopefully by March. 18 months from sowing here is the result 😊
Lovely, thank you! So, best to find myself a plant and propagate it from my own fresh seed then I think.
You're welcome @tash74 good luck 😀
😍😍😍
This gives me hope that it can be grown from seed. I've just bought some!!
@prettylittleimagez I've had to be quite attentive to get to this stage Karen, the dry May really didn't help. At last I can relax and watch the clumps build year on year. The parent plant is about 5ft tall now with some really sturdy stems. You'll need some patience, good luck!

I've waited nearly a year for this. Finally the money shot 😃🐳🌸 #thalictrum
This is a favourite of mine, wasn't it worth the wait..beautiful 💗👌
@mich Me too, and it really was! The flowers are so tiny - I had to hold my breath and take the photo between heartbeats ❤️ Well, almost! 😁
Good things come in small packages Graham and this is one of them..it's beautiful they're so pretty 💗
Perfect shot 💕👌

Boring photo, just cataloguing before and after. This planting location is the closest I could get to Japanese woodland in my garden.
