One of the osteo cuttings I struck last year flowering. I should take the flowers off but will enjoy for a day or so first.

Well done 👏🏼 I started from seeds with with a few pots couple of years ago. While in London, moved to France and now I'm giving them away self-seed 😂😊👍 the neighbours not complaining the price they charge in garden centres 😱

@lamaisonbleueoleron Not quite warm enough for self seeding here but the parent plant is from my days at the RHS so it's at least four/five years old and for at least three of those years has gone through the winter outside.

I pinch small clumps with roots on from mums garden. They don't take much to get going :)

They are super easy. The perennial osteospermum I literally snap bits off and stick in the ground. It's one of the few plants my rabbits don't eat.

Wow, is this early for these? @gardening-vet

@richard.spicer.7906 It is early yes but as these are small cuttings they are under glass until the risk of frost passes so they are clearly making the most of the warmth.
