#orange Finally a 5 Foot Tall Orange Tree addition to my Plant Family. Had an Orange 2 yrs back @ back gardens however it didn't survived in the rains. Although this time, have put at the Right Front Gardens where all the Sweet Lime & Lemons are present. Have repotted to a 10 inch Pot for time being. Hopefully this time around will get it right 🤔😊😎🤓
@moore.794 They can produce fruit at 1 feet height since these are grafted variety. However Fruiting happens ideally around once in an year around December
@KariSamuel Thanks, I am hoping it would do better since it is protected from rains unlike last time. Also I did put in Epsom salt last time so that might be one of the factors it didn't survived last time along with continuous rains
I have grapefruit trees that my Daddy actually started, by tossing his breakfast grapefruit seeds in my Momma's planted pots! I believe we have 6 survivors from them.... my sister, my mom and myself each have two! They will never provide us fruit, but I love them!!
@KariSamuel Citrus grown from Seeds would take more time to produce fruits possibly 2-3 years. It needs good amount of Sunlight too for fruiting. What I noticed with Sweet Lime & Lemons that if you constantly put Organic Compost & alternate day watering, they would start bearing fruits with proper Sunshine. I am planning to go for Pomelo which is a near Cousin of Grapefruit 😊
Well I've had these for over 18 years, since my Daddy passed away. But - I live in Wisconsin and we just can't get enough sun, heat or humidity for beauties like these!
