#blueberry My First Blueberry (2 plants). The Leaves are extremely Shiny & Glossy. Seems a High Bush Variety. Blueberry is uncommon in South India as not many people are aware and growing High Bush Varieties. Only in Eastern India, Low Bush Varieites are grown due to Cooler Climates. Really Excited to see how it performs. Any advice on the Glossy Leaves Blueberry Care appreciated 😙😚🤗😍😊 Was on top of my Wishlist from quiet sometime
@gauravsh6 I’ve got a pair of blueberries and I get a lovely crop from them. Mine is grown in Ericaceous soil as they prefer it. I would repot it into a bigger pot with the correct soil. If you want a bushy plant, pinch the tips out. Feed with the appropriate feed. Hope that’s of some help? 😊🙏🏼👍🏼
Thanks @pixierose Does it needs to be kept in Direct Sun. How do you maintain soil composition over period of time as water is normally alkaline and can change ph of soil. Also how frequently watering needs to be done
@gauravsh6 mine have sun for most of the day till about 3 or 4pm every spring I scrape some soil of and replace with fresh ericaceous soil. I also feed them with ericaceous plant feed. Only water with rain water they’re not particularly keen on tap water but there have been times I’ve had to as ran out of rain water. They’re pretty robust plants. Mine cope with no watering when I go away but most probably get a bit of rain. I would say an easy plant to maintain. 😊🙏🏼👍🏼
