This is my James Grieve apple tree on my allotment. This is it's fourth season and it has already survived canker. But it's in poor shape and I have no clue on how to prune it.
Thanks linfoster. It has never been pruned in its 4 years and the main branch is still whippy and will need a support if it is to survive this year. It was not bought as a dwarf variety.
