Moved to Gloucestershire in 2016, so a new garden to get to know - some plants have gone and new ones planted. I love the app for logging my plants.

So, apparently it doesn’t need acid soil, but neutral, so it may be ok. Good luck little acer - you’re on your own now!

I’m not very good with acers! It’s a bit better than last year, but probably needs planting out. No ericaceous compost, so it may have to take what it can get! I’m such a hard-hearted gardener 😆

Help! What can I do to save it?

@glossygardener I usually work my way up the stems crushing them with my fingers, a finger width at a time. Just enough pressure to feel them pop. Failing that I hold the infested section in my palm and blast them off with a hose trigger adapter on a fairly narrow setting. Good luck!

Just go gradually with the hose pressure

Ok, I’ll give it a go. Used to do both those with my runner bean plants years ago. Thanks for the advice 😀
