Deep red ❤️

Wow that’s a biggy ❤️

@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom I have to hack loads off it each year - been there since I moved in in 1993 🌺

I’ve got a red one that I hack back too but not as big as that....❤️

@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom Does yours travel underground and pop up all over the place Elaine? mine has shoots coming up in the lawn a good 6’ from the main bush 🙄

@grandmagizzy yes Chris it does and I chop them off....👍🏼

Gorgeous

Mine haven’t flowered yet, I don’t think.

This seems to be either flowering or fruiting most of the year one of my favourites Emma @Emma915Jones

One little bit of blossom and lots of fruit today 😍

Ah great Christine and beautiful blossom 😍What will you do with the fruit? I have one and understand you can only eat them when they have been cooked? Was thinking of perhaps mixing with another fruit to make jam... @grandmagizzy

@AlisaJ - Hi I've not done anything with the fruit but an old lady I knew, sadly no longer with us, used to make Quince Jelly rather than jam and it was really nice 😍

Oh lovely. I will have to look up a recipe. Nice to have that link to the lady you knew and the memory of her cooking. Thank you- will take a look 👍🏼

Can't stop photographing this - sorry - colour just amazing 🌺📷

I'm not surprised Christine, it's beautiful. 😍😍

I thought mine was a lovely colour...but this is fabulous! ♥️

I love this quince.I think it's because it brings back happy memories of my Mothers garden

I find certain plants bring happy memories too Patricia @pattygardd . Fuchsias remind me of my grandma as she had them against the wall of her brick and flint cottage. My mums friend known as an Aunty had a beautiful garden and I loved her snowdrops and anemones - I couldn't pronounce it so called them memories!!! 😄💕

Fantastic colour, that's the richest red I've seen on one of these. I think I've only seen pink ones before.

Very good. #red #quince #thorn #ouch
