Beautiful #amaryllis I'll plant some next year

Only two flowers this year but did have a weird growth spurt last June so perhaps tired itself out 🙄🌸

Last years coming to life again along with some strange seedling..... I put this out in the garden in the pot for a few weeks in the summer as suddenly produced leaves seed must have hit in then😳 #amaryllis

Will be interesting to see what they are🤔

Mine is growing leaves now. 👍🏼 It finished flowering last month and it now growing leaves. It's ok to d that now. It's up to you if you force dormancy later in the year. I don't bother. 😊

I'm jealous too...i must have put mine in to moist of soil and it got red blotch and the bloom that was about to open dried up and died! I was so sad! 😢

Mine was diagnosed with red blotch by a GTer when I posted first couple of pics so I followed treatment recommended and it’s still growing keeping fingers crossed it will flower successfully . My friends (above) is gorgeous Kyla @PunkyKy

Oh clever elastic band! Mine came out ages ago, flopped over and had to be cut. Now I just have two leaves in a pot, to go with my collection of non-flowering orchids... 😂😂

Looks to be infected with red bloch or stagonosporum curtisii. Can be treated with 1%solutions bleach or hydrogen peroxide followed by a systemic fungicide
