And this big beautiful beast!! I usually cut my blooms off of my #coleus, but I was liking the look of this one in bloom, and holy moly, I’m so glad I did. It’s HUGE! To the right is what is left of my spider flowers, and behind it is my Japanese maple, if that gives you some perspective of how big it is.

It looks big, and beautiful but that's not a good perspective! We need numbers or you by it or something like that woman!!😂😁💘😍

You don’t know how tall my #japanesemaple is? @ShelleySnyder lol touché! Now I’m challenged to make a better one tomorrow. I love a challenge 😆

WOOHOO!! A challenge! We'll see tomorrow!😂💘😍

Thank you @cyndi the plant really took a hit supporting all those blooms, but I don’t mind so much on this one

@cyndi @ShelleySnyder I decided I should wait another week or so to let the roots take hold in the soil, so it will be a little more secure for shipping. But they are doing great so far

They look absolutely fabulous Haley!💘😍

Oh thank you! I have these too but didn't know the name. I'm supposed to hold seeds for @ShelleySnyder. are you sending some to her?

@lesliecole49 uhoh!! I don't remember that Leslie, which of course is nothing unusual for me! There's just too many nice people on here!!😭🤔💘😍

@lesliecole49 @ShelleySnyder Leslie, hold on to those seeds, in case my live plants don’t make it through the mail.

Lol @ShelleySnyder yeah there was some conversation! How funny, I forget too, I've been propogating mine is why it's still in my head.

@lesliecole49 I wouldn't remember my head if it wasn't attached!😂😂💘😍

@ShelleySnyder @lesliecole49 lord knows they will not be wasted. I just wanted everyone who wanted some, to have it. One day, you will have something I want 🤔 lol.

And when I do let me know and if it's possible you can have it!😉💘😍

What she said! ⬆️ tho my inventory is pretty low as I'm just starting

#coleus

It is quite a stunner in the garden right now

On my wish list!!💘😍

Tell me how to ship it, and i will gladly send y’all a piece.

@ShelleySnyder @cyndi

You can cut it any where just above two leaves, they root very fast in water!💘😍

Yea I know how to propagate them @ShelleySnyder just unsure how I would ship it.... could I get it rooted, and then ship in soil? Would the plant be ok in total darkness during the journey? Sorry I haven’t gotten to participate in any sharing on here, so I have never shipped anything. But I’m glad to start! If I can get it there alive

You know I'm not sure cuz the only live plants I've sent were brugmansia cuttings, I think maybe these peps could help you more @columbiariver @cyndi I'm sure there's more peps but I'm completely blank right now, it's getting close to dinner time 😂😂😂💘😍

Lol @ShelleySnyder how did u send those? They propagate basically the same steps. But the tree would obviously be more sturdy... idk but if u tell me how, I would love to share. I enjoy telling everyone that the only plants I ever paid for, were my irises and my Japanese maple. Everything else is from propagation or gifts from @bpetty55 when volunteers show up, I get them. It’s pretty amazing how beautiful you can make your yard with a little knowledge, and awesome cousin

I sure will tell you how I sent them, but your right the brugs are tough and thick, I just wrapped them in wet paper towels and put them in a closed Ziploc bag and put them in a padded envelope, one only went to Oregon from Washington, the others did go much farther and apparently they arrived fine. I think tho the coleus might be crushed in a padded envelope so I would suggest a box and hope the post office truck doesn't run over it!😂 , I personally think it would be best to root it and

Put it in a pot(it wouldn't have to be very big pot) and water it down and bag it, and then get creative as to how to pack it in the box 🤔 that's all I got for now but if you can think of anything else ask away girl!😂😉💘😍

I will make some cuttings, work on getting them rooted, and see what I can come up with that won’t beat them to death, and see what happens. I will keep you posted
Pretty sure I failed this challenge @ShelleySnyder Better late than never 🤦♀️
But it’s at least 4 ft
Whoa!!😳 the one you sent me is all of 6" tall! 😂💘😍
That is A LOT of seeds!!
