Um...help? I have other (different varieties of) bamboo, that did a full leaf shed on being introduced to the garden, then threw new shoots and greened up...I'm sort of hoping this is doing the same 🤕 the canes underneath the yellow 'skin' are healthy and green...my question is, should I leave this to take it's own course, or, as it is essentially a grass, should I cut it down (a bit) to promote new growth, and strip back the dead leaves? This one is in a large pot, not in the ground btw

If it were something else I'd tend to agree, but I've seen bamboo seemingly return from the grave before ;)
