My Carmella looks like itās dying!!!! Itās my first Carmella do they prefer just morning sun?? My leaves are almost brittle @cyndi told me to give it a good drink a mild fertilizer and prune the dead growth. Any other tips yours is beautiful 🤗🤗🤗😊💕😥😥😥
Have you got it planted in eracasious compost? only thatās what they prefer, also they love tea āļø,if you save your teabags and rip them open and spread your tea leaves around the roots itāll love you forever 😊👍.....they donāt need much sun I believe there more shade loving 💕 good luck!
You know your stuff Cyndi 😀👍.....basically Terri youāve got to treat them like a woodland plant and you wonāt go far wrong 😊👍💚 @cyndi @terrimclaughlin
@cyndi yes u gave me the link and I read it but sometimes getting tips from people are also good like about the orchid food and now the tea and coffee grounds I have mine in morning sun but sometimes by 11:00 like today and a few days last week itās already 90 degrees and that directly next to my front door but I have that solar screen that reduces direct hot sun in the back Iām going to put it there tomorrow and feed and prune it. I was really busy all morning doing some up- poting Thxs cyndi
@hareball thxs for the tip. I believe your weather also is more humid and maybe not quite so hot Common sense should of told me if itās a fall bloomer here in sthrn Texas then it probably doesnāt like a lot of the darn hot sun. I hope I get it back healthy I hate to lose a plant and I donāt to often. Thxs again.
Lovely Della 🌺 And Terri...my FIL always told me not to plant them in an east facing position as if thereās any moisture the early morning sun will singe the leaves. Give it a good acid feed 👍🏼 @terrimclaughlin
Thxs Rachael and your right I do have a few leaves with round light brown spots I do have some orchid food cyndi said thatās a good food for it. Thxs I gotten a lot of good advice hopefully in a couple weeks or so Iāll put out a picture and itāll b doing much better Thxs again 😊💕
