Brand new to gardening. Taken over my husbands great grans garden and want to keep it beautiful in her memory 💕💕 Paisley Scotland.
Still not looking too good and it's in the ground now 🙈
Is this #dead have I killed it or can I save it 🙈🙄😢 xxx
@tiggrx can you advise? Xx
It isn't dead it needs planting out and feeding with liquid food
Have you got it in ericaceous soil?
@bookworm68 is #tomorite ok dobbies tell me to do everything with that? @JPGarden it was still in the pot does it need ericareous? I've put it in the ground now 😬
Heathers prefer and will perform better in ericaceous
@JPGarden Ive just planted into the garden soil....would camellia/azalea feed help?
It certainly won't do any harm. Even mulch with ericaceous if you have some
Unlike most heathers, Erica carnea does not need ericaceous (acid) soil and will grow in most soil types.
Need to plant this somewhere... @tiggrx do you suggest pot or ground?
It could do well in either, mine are in the ground but I have seen them looking good in containers.
@tiggrx im@gonna go with ground :) any preferential spot?
Select an appropriate option
Thank You!
