Do I need to think about a little pruning? I think i may have planted to close together.
Yes they can cross but I would be careful because if you get a pumpkin in the area it is crossing it could kill the plant, also you could spread the vines so they don't wrap around each other , Because sometimes that can be frustraing ,you usually want to plant them 5-10 feet apart
