Hi @pianomojoe his was an Autumn 'Crocus' last October. However confusingly although people call them Autumn Crocus they are not Crocus but another species entirely Colchicum. Even more confusingly there are Crocus's that do flower in Autumn which are also called Autumn Crocus by some people!!!
How confusing is that!? Best to stick with the Latin name in this case. I just looked them up and colchicum is highly toxic if eaten 😱 careful if you have pets. Yours look lovely in those pots, good job 😀
@pianomojoe Much prefer Latin names as avoids confusion. Although wish they would stop changing them all the time!!! No pets so poisonous plants not a problem, but generally not bothered anyway as so many common plants are poisonous but as long as I don't eat them I will be fine!!
