Oh my! Can you see it?! I have a rather large bloom forming! Hard to believe that this huge plant grew from one teeny tiny seed this year! And it's going to get bigger and bigger! 😁😁😁

I had one and had to take it out Hayley. It was a monster 👹

Laura, you sent me these seeds didn't you? ☺️ @columbiariver

I'm happy to have a monster Julie! Given I've tried numerous times until this success with seeds ☺️ @vec

Don't say I didn't warn you when you decide its too big and you want to try and dig out the root 😂🤣😃😋

Ha ha!! Well I'll happily admit defeat then and give you a shout to sort it for me!! 😂😂 @vec

Oh no you don't. They'll be no #iblamejulie on this one 😛😛😛

No I won't blame you, but as you've experience of "the roots" 😱 then you know how to dig out! 😂😂😂 @vec

Brute force, give up and ask Mr vec 😁😋😀

Ok what's his number?! 😂😂😂 @vec

😂😂😂

Everything I've sown Laura, that you sent me, has grown! 😍😍 thanks lovely 😘 @columbiariver

Also growing well! 😁 @columbiariver 😍

@hayleyaj have you grown these before?

No it's the first time, I want them for my Tropical bed as the leaves are so architectural and the blooms fab for #bees @sventress

Ah cool @hayleyaj first time growing for me too!

Ooh let's compare notes on progress Sean 😁 @sventress

They are fast growing Laura (apparently!) 😂😂 @columbiariver

I know Lin! Part of my #tropical bed plan 😊 @linfoster

Great plants. I’ve had mine for about 4 years and they never disappoint.

OMG! I'm so excited! For 3 years I've tried to grow these from seed for their ornamental appeal! And I now have seedlings poking through! To dark to take a pic in greenhouse tonight but will post one when I can see it in daylight! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😍😍😍

I grew echinops last year but they didn't flower and they are back again this year so I'm hopeful 😊

I have a couple of Echinops in the garden. Mine didn't either but looking good this year. These globe artichokes can grow up to 5ft! @elsie 😁

Exciting times 😊

Love this can’t wait to see

👏👏👏 yey

Yaaay result ! 👏👏👏

👍🏻👍🏻🤗🤗😅😊💕

How exciting 😃well done for your patient , worth the reward.

You sent me these Laura! When they are sustainable plants I'll tag you my lovely! 😍 @columbiariver

Oh I hope so! They'll be perfect in my tropical bed with the height and flash of colour 😍 @columbiariver
Hope these make the thistle stage before it gets too cold ☺️
Aren't you going eat it😲? @hayleyaj
No its ornamental! 😂 @cee
Are there different varieties of Globe Artichokes? Because the Globe Artichokes my sister has grown are edible and delicious😊😊 @hayleyaj
No it is edible but I've grown for the thistle that's comes as they go to seed 😁 @cee
👍🏻👍🏻the flowers are lovely, although it would be in my pot quicker than you can say thistle🤣🤣 @hayleyaj
