Fell in love with this plant when we visited Birmingham Botanical Gardens and had to have one! This was a baby 2 months ago and is blooming for the first time. They spread well and can grow up to 2.5 metres tall! I knew I needed one. As multiple flower spikes from one plant. This is the first. The foliage is fabulous too, green leaves tinged with burgundy 😁😁

Mines really slow this year for some reason 🤔

Drown it Dave. They like wet feet! Considering it was just a few inches tall in a pot in March and I decided to plant it out in April, it’s done so well. But they are thirsty plants @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co

Ive had mine 4 years now hayley, it was in a big pot for 2, but needed watering constantly, so put it in the ground, and its a bit easier to look after. Prehaps ive neglected it a bit 🤔

Best off in the ground. And like I say lots of water! 😁 @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co

Oh and shady feet @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co
