So when we had those high winds a few weeks ago, it broke off my gorgeous Monarda at the base, even though it was staked and in full bloom with numerous buds. So I popped the stem in a jar of water for 2 weeks and it rooted. Cut it back and potted it on. It's now got great roots in the pot so hoping I've managed to save it ☺️
