Chlorophytum amaniense 'Green Orange'

Slowly but surely. Last year it grew back so much faster. I think I may put them in a different smaller pot #mandarinspiderplant #spiderplantgreenorange

Ohhhh this plant has another name I've never heard of before. I have the same plant but it's listed under Fire Flash. Mines a houseplant. Will be fun to watch yours grow. 😁 @heatherdirtyhands

I just put it out in the summer. By the end of winter it'll look like trash. I cut it all back and start over in the spring. Growing slow this year. I just repotted it. Kept two seperated two to try to sell @sherrisgarden

So after I repotted I thought this may not make it. I waited a couple days and it looked terrible so I cut a bunch of leaves off and now its perking up. Thank god it's one of my favorites #spiderplantgreenorange #mandarinspiderplant

When I looked back thru the old photos I see this plant has died off and came back before. Great plant

@heatherdirtyhands do you chopped it? To the base of the stem? Did you leave any foliage on the stock or just go to base? This is a new plant for me, just learning... in case lol. How often are you watering? Dry side or moist side?

So I chopped it all the way to the dirt. No foliage. I did this a couple times and it always comes back. I don't water on a schedule and I keep all my plants on the dry side. @leafylife

So after this got all messed up from putting it outside too soon I cut it all back and now its recording! I'm.so happy because I adore this #spiderplant #greenorangespiderplant #mandarin

Question: I put my #greenorangespiderplant outside yesterday in the sun and fertilized it for the first time this season and went outside this am and out of all the plants I put outside it turned a weird color and looks terrible! Do u think it was the fertilizer? The sun? The coolness last night? All the other plants (30 of them) look ok. Should I cut it back or leave them on and see what happens? #plantquestion #plantmedic #planthelp

It went into the 40s last night. Was in the high 60s during the day. It gets morning light and sun throughout the day where it is right now. I may move it to a shadier spot to be safe

After dying off completely my #spiderplantgreenorange is coming back so beautifully
