Still can't get over this. Hope it does better than when it grew 2 from the top before. I'm too scared to remove it. Would u keep it on or remove? #opinions #advice #bluetorchcactus

It looks so frisky you could safely remove & replant but if it were my own cactus I would leave it where it is until it gets top-heavy and keels over...

Just a question, when you had the bad outcome, had you broken off the pup and let it scab over before planting?

And was rooting hormone involved?

So I think they got knocked off on accident. Cant remember but I definitely let them scab over before planting them. Maybe not long enough? And I didn't use rooting hormone. Maybe I put cinnamon on it cant totally remember. @lovestogarden @emch

After losing the two offsets it grew I was sad but hes growing a new cutie #newgrowth #bluetorchcactus

So this is by far my oldest cactus....long beforei had a true plant addiction. It had gotten a spot.on it and I thought it was rotting so I chopped a nearly 2 foot cactus lol the inside was healthy and 2 grew from the top at least it doesnt look like balls and so phallic anymore lmao.
